We now have a couple of budget amps available for demo in our Leederville showroom:

The very popular DSE 5.1 amp:

* 5.1 input & 2 x AUX input
* Virtual 5.1 effect and DSP modes (with AUX's only)
* Subwoofer Pre-out (for Powered Subwoofer)
* 175W total output power
* 25W x 5 channel Surround power
* 50W Subwoofer channel amplification (for Passive sub)
* Full function remote control
* Nominal Impedance 8 Ohms

and coming in tomorrow the Digitech AA-0470, which is a cracking amp for the price. Check out specs and a short review here

Colin,
any chance of the Onkyo TX-SR605 being added to your product list please?
Cheers,
Allan H.

Hi Allan, we are unlikely to get the TX-SR605. We sell an equivalent Integra amplifier, the DTR 5.8 which is comparable in price to the SR605 (RRP $1395). You can also get a 10% discount off this with any kit purchase made at the same time.

We're actually an Integra dealer, so we can only supply a few, lower-end models of Onkyo receivers. However we sell the full range of Integra products.

Have you had any service issues with Onkyo? I remember looking at some amps a few years back and being told that even though they're reliable amps, the product backup wasn't very good (although this could have been the salesman trrying to puch another product!!). The feature sets of these new Onkyos is very tasty!

Of the Onkyo amps that we've sold, we have never had one come back with problems, so I couldn't say what their service and support is like.

what ever happened to the production of the infamous DSE 2 channel amplifiers? Did they stop manufacturing them to focus on the 5.1 model because i haven't seen it since available.

DSE only makes the 5.1 amp now; I'm not sure why.
