The first one looks ok, not sure on the second one, maybe try a can and see what it does?

The series 500 stuff can be purchased online here: http://www.noelsautoparts.com.au/Series%20500.htm Don't know how they are for service though as I got mine locally through Thrifty Link Hardware.

Where are you based?

I'm in Perth. Not far from LSK, actually. I've tried every store that I know of nearby for options - Super Cheap Auto, Auto One, Bunnings, Mitre 10........

Normally I wouldn't mind ordering online, but I'm not too keen on getting aerosol cans shipped interstate!

Australia Post doesn't actually mind, as long as they don't have to go into the air, which they don't unless you get express shipping. The real trick is finding a hardware store that actually does mail order.

Ok I got out the carton the Spray Putty came in to get some more details for you.
Thrifty Link purchased it from John Danks & Son of Kewdale who in turn purchased it from +
Balchan (maybe Balghan) International, 3-5 Hannabus Pl, Mulgrave NSW. Ph: 02 4577 6977 <-- these guys seem to be the manufacturer so give them a call and they will have a list of re-sellers in Perth.
Product code is S223, barcode 9315363003492.

Ah, that helps! Now the detective work starts.......

Balchan now seems to be known as Motor Mate Products. No website or other info available.
John Danks and Sons is an auto/hardware distributor in WA, and supply to Thrifty Link as well as Home Timber and Hardware.
They claim to stock the 500 Series Spraying Putty (matching barcode) as well as a one step Primer/Filler.
These products come from 'Campbells Wholesale', but you need an account to access their product lines.
I have both a Thrifty Link and a Home Hardware within 15 minutes of my home.

I might just check out the nearby hardwares, and if they don't have it then I'll just go for the Septone product.
