Just a quick comment/suggestion to anybody building an LSK kit; specifically M4's, but possibly other small kits as well......
CHECK THAT EVERYTHING IS SQUARE BEFORE CLAMPING!
On test fitting, I found that the front and back panels of my M4's were a LOT looser a fit than my previous M6 kit. I didn't think much of it at the time, glued and constructed my kit, and put on the clamps. I noticed as I was wiping away glue that one of the speakers was nowhere near square - the gap between the recess on the front/back panels and the side panels was enough to allow it to happen. I unclamped and gently tried to straighten it up, but used too much force and actually succeeded in breaking off all four 'channels' in the top and bottom panels. In less than 5 minutes the glue had stuck enough that it was stronger than the MDF.
Much swearing and cursing later, I managed a semi-square job that should still be structurally sound...... but its going to require a cubic assload of filling and sanding work to try and get a flat finish. Additionally, I don't think I can rout the edges either without risking the box cracking. While the other speaker is better, it is not square either.
So I'll say it again........
