Awesome, just brilliant cinematography. Great detail - looks really easy to build. Was the finish paint or veneer?

Thanks for the video

Thanks mate!

3 Coates of MDF sealant (Brush)
3 Coates of undercoat (white aerosol)
3 Coats of Black Gloss (aerosol)
3 Coats of Wattyl estapol gloss (aerosol)

a bucket load of sanding and a BIG tin of elbow grease.

Took weekend of hot sunny weather to finish off. Very happy with the sound quality too - twice as loud (and clear) as my old speaker at the same volume level.

Good luck with your project!!

Great Job Gitane!

I'm about to have a fight with the PVA container and put my C6 together.
I think i'm going to steel the stolen idea of the stainless screws too! Looks like a very effective contrast.

Did you route the edges or give them a light sand or leave them square? I am undecided what i will do.

Your first video really helped me decide to go down the kit speakers path and now you have outdone yourself.

Thank you and keep up the good work.

I'll be posting some picks of my progress later next week.

Have a good one!

Thanks Devo!

Front edges only were rounded with an orbital sander I bought at K-Mart for $19.95 - the best 20 bucks I ever spent!! I drew some pencil guidlines down the edges to try and make things as even as possible.

Have never used a router before - I think I have a small phobia of them - I hear they can bite!
