Dam I feel like an old woman when hitting the forum asking for help to decide on a paint!
However, I feel that it may turn the balance of power in my mind.

I realise that paint preference is completely subjective to people’s opinions and the decor of surrounding objects.
So, I will make it a little easier for the astute persons of this forum.

It is my really first attempt of building anything remotely of this nature. I have a C6, Pair of M6's and Pair M5's with a S350 on the way (may have to stick that big sucker under the house!). After may beers, sheets of sand paper and putty going hard in 20 seconds i am up to the stage of sanding back the spray putty.

I need to think about the final color. The choices I give you are : 1. A dark Hammertone color (hammertone to try and mask any minor blemishes that my not so masterful attempt to construct)

Or 2. A satin black. (Stuff the little mistakes, I'm not perfect so why should my speakers look perfect) Saying that I have done my best to get them as smooth as possible.

These are your only 2 options and I don't need any other ideas floating though my already thick head.

P.S. I may spray the s350 a brighter color due to it's size (preferably a color that woman cannot see as she has no idea it is coming!)

Thanks Guys

Don't stress all. I have selected the finish of my kits!

I have gone with a satin black enamel.

I'll post a complete journay of the build once i have sprayed them up.

Cheers

Usually, a lighter colour light white is easiest to do. Throw gloss in the mix and it becomes trickier again. That said, satin black is a great finish. It's easier to keep clean than gloss black. Gloss black is a bitch to do and it gets fnger prints all over just by looking at it. On the flip side, if you get some small scratches, you can polish them out as it is only the gloss which is scratched. With Satin, once its scratched, it's scratched.
Anyway, I'm just rambling. I'm not trying to change your mind, Devo, as I love the satin black finish and I'm sure it'll look great.
