The F5 Gen II is an MTM (Midbass, Tweeter, Midbass) tower speaker designed for a primary role as music speakers and also as L/R speakers in a full sized home cinema system. It is a slightly scaled down version of the F6 tower with performance that far exceeds it's size. Standing at almost 1m tall, the F5 is a narrow aspect speaker which means that it can fit into tight spaces. It's front firing ports mean it can be pushed back close to the wall.

Fully shielded for home theatre use, this MTM tower uses the same excellent 5" woofers (from Peerless Engineering) as the M5 and C5, along with a Vifa Mylar dome tweeter in an EBS (Extended Bass Shelf) alignment designed to extract maximum bass performance.

The amount and quality of bass is outstanding and this design was destined to become our biggest seller even before the prototypes were finished. Midbass attack and extension is brilliant, and midrange smoothness and off axis flatness contributes greatly to this speaker's vocal performance.

A perfect timbral match to the M5 and C5 kits for high performance home theatre in a mid sized package.

The F5s are the best speakers in our range for reproducing a wide range of music, especially well recorded vocal, jazz, classical and ambient music, but they also do a great job with electronic and dance material. If you are in doubt as to which speaker in our range will suit you, this is the safest bet.
